Moving into a new country can be daunting!

As a former international student, I had a lot of questions; many of which I couldn’t find answers to just by Googling until I met people willing to share certain information with me based on their experience, thus equipping me with the knowledge needed to settle into this new environment as an international student/immigrant.

Understanding the challenges resulting from this information gap inspired me to start this podcast.

I started The International Students Podcast (TISP) for the following reasons:

• to create a platform for international students to access relevant information and answers to their unanswered questions,
• to provide a safe space for international students to access all the support they need as they move into a new country.
• to amplify marginalised voices
• to connect students/graduates/immigrants to opportunities,
• to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion (DE&I).

Aside from sharing my experiences, I leverage my network to bring experts and professionals as guest speakers from various backgrounds and sectors to share knowledge on finance, jobs, scholarships, career opportunities, visa application, studying abroad, culture shocks, etc, and essentially how to navigate life abroad.
