I am the Founder and Host of the International Students Podcast (TISP)— a global platform for international students — whose goal is to promote diversity and inclusion, support immigrant students and young people with relevant information, and align them with opportunities.

My first degree was an HND in Business Administration. I have a Master’s degree in Media Practice for Development & Social Change from The University of Sussex. I did this master’s because I love working in the Development sector where I can be part of the change that I dream of.

I am passionate about young people, social change, social inclusion, gender equity, and justice! I am committed to continuous self-improvement and pro-active participation in, and contribution to, society. Some of my skills would include Storytelling, Content Creation, Blogging, Journalism, Leadership & Mentoring, Fundraising, Digital Marketing, Creative Writing, documentary filmmaking and editing, and podcasting, amongst others.

I hope to continue to be an instrument of change!

I have experience working with young people; I worked at The Winch as Youth Worker and Media Officer for 2 years, providing mentorship for young people, facilitating social action projects, leading research projects on VAWG, as well as creating media content for the organisation.

I was the Coordinating Lead for a social action research project, managing two female researchers to successfully carry out a year-long research, producing a research report on Violence Against Women and Girls of Color in Camden, London.

Asides from writing, I also make short documentary films. I’ve produced and directed documentary films on social issues like Homelessness, Sexuality & Diversity, and the role/impact of Youth organisations on young people in society (London).

I co-directed and co-produced a documentary film titled: ‘A Rainbow Journey’, which was selected as a finalist by Brighton Rocks International Film Festival (BRIFF). The film was about diversity, colors, sexuality, and representation.

I write stories, articles, and essays for magazines, newspapers, newsletters, websites, books, etc, both fiction and nonfiction.

I also enjoy sharing personal anecdotes and essays based on lived experiences, on my social media platforms and my blog.

At The Winch, I created and introduced a monthly newsletter that not only captures monthly updates from across the various teams but also features a ‘Staff of The Month’ section which recognizes and celebrates a member of staff each month and tells their story to motivate other members of staff.

At Sussex University I was part of the Communications department as a Newsletter Contributor writing articles and reviews for events for the widely circulated university newsletter.
